As a side note Tourist turned over 3000 engine hours at mm 148 on the Tennessee River on October 31, 2014. Not bad for a Sea Ray!

Since we arrived at Legacy we've been busy with oil changes. Fuel filter changes. General cleaning and even worked in time to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Of course Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to gather and give thanks for all that they have been given in life. In the absence of family for most of us boaters here in Florida  Pat & Donna of M/V Miss Donna set up a Bloody Mary bar to help fill the void. I must say it almost worked!

More like a garden for your Bloody Mary. Thanks Miss Donna!

Later in the day Pam & I were guests of Bill & Mary for what has now become our traditional holiday meal away from home. Cornish hens!

The view of Legacy from Bill & Mary's condo.

Naked bird.

Finished product waiting for consumption.

Taken before we acted like ravenous dogs and devoured the feast.

We polished off the day with a viewing of My Cousin Vinny before waddling back to the boat.
Thanks Bill & Mary for the hospitality and sharing our version of Thanksgiving.

The marina seems almost full but the number of actual boaters doesn't seem to match the number of boats. Probably something to do with the holidays. Quite a few people have gone home already and a few have just arrived at Legacy. One such couple was Gene & Kathy of M/V Front Page who promptly wanted to get the cobwebs off the boat and thus invited several B-dockers to accompany them for a lunch outing to Marker 92 Restaurant.
The weather was perfect as we slipped out of the marina and down the Caloosahatchie.

A few pictures from the day.

Gene explain the fine art of cruising to Marilyn while Pat eavesdrops.

Somehow I ended up behind the wheel for part of the trip.

We caught up to this tug & barge just before our turn. Can you see the girl with the hula hoop on the back of the tug?

How about now? Thanks to Marv of M/V DeeLight for the close up.

Everybody needs a picture of Pam & I!

Front Page backed into the courtesy slip at Tarpon Point Marina.

A great time was had by all. Thanks Gene & Kathy for the fun outing!
